We like many New England Churches over the years have we found it difficult
finding a pastor. Often the problem is related
to finances due to small congregations. We have some ideas that can provide
options for small churches. Discipleship Ministries can help you.

can help you. Some feedback from those who have contacted us.
"I'm excited because your help provided us with options and
hope." NY
"We didn't realize the need for proper background checks on potential
pastors...your help and understanding of the issues regarding pastor reimbursement has
been very enlightening." ME
"As a result of the help you provided, our church now has a
pastor and we have doubled in size." PA
"Because of your help, we began to consider options we had not even considered
possible." NY
"Thank you for helping our pulpit committee see the issues before we made a
major mistake." MA
There are two problems the small church faces. One is finances and the other is
finding men willing to minister in them. We do not have a list of men. Our
emphasis has been on addressing the financial issue. Having available potential
candidates is only one issue. The church must be able to support them. We
believe that if the funds were available more men would be open to considering
working with the small church. For a copy of "Ideas for Saving Rural Churches"
